Say Yes to the Modest Dress - Featuring Lydia Blodgett

Today is the kick-off to our Say Yes to the Modest Dress event! I am so excited to have so many lovely brides to feature (+ their bridesmaids!) Be sure to enter the giveaway at the bottom and keep checking back each day for new posts and new giveaways!

Today, we are featuring Lydia Blodgett! As she is my younger sister, I have access to a LOT of photos. And that means I will be sharing a LOT of photos.

Due to the arrival of baby Rachael Annalise Blodgett, Lydia is not sharing comments here today. And I had to use lesser quality photos, hence the smaller images (sorry, guys). However, she will be available in the Modesty Matters event in two weeks to share modest maternity photos and give her testimony/bio. So I will be covering for her today.

Lydia's modest wedding dress came from David's Bridal, although it took some alterations to make it "modest." Light and flowy, it was perfect for a summer wedding. As with all of our brides, Lydia was careful to represent Christ even on her wedding day and proved that a girl can find a modest dress in today's world without spending a fortune.

Lydia's lovely bridesmaids were also modest and absolutely beautiful!

Despite being a summer wedding, all of the bridesmaids and bride were modest. I loved Lydia's colors. Don't you?!

This should be an advertisement for David's Bridal, if I do say so myself...

Thank you, Lydia, for being with us today!

Now it's time for a giveaway...
