Giveaway with Erynn Mangum!

Hey, y'all, time to spread a little Christmas cheer!

Today, we have my author friend Erynn Mangum on the blog. Check out the fun interview and enter to win her book Miss Match in ebook format.

What is your favorite snack/beverage to enjoy while writing?
Anything chocolate or caramel. If I'm super desperate for a good word count, I make a pot of decaf or head to my favorite little coffeehouse in town and get unlimited coffee and a salted caramel bar. :) Usually it does the trick!

Which book did you enjoy writing the most?
I probably enjoyed writing Miss Match the most. It was the first contemporary book I'd ever written and I wrote it purely for the fun of writing it, not to be published at all. Actually, I was shopping a different manuscript when I went to a conference and the editor I was talking to asked if I'd ever written anything else. So I showed her Miss Match and the rest is history. ;)

If you could be one of your characters, which would it be?
Each of my novel characters has something about them that I like. I love Laurie's boldness, I like Maya's sweetness. Paige was such a fun storyline to write. But honestly, I'd probably pick one of my novella's characters. I love Christmas novellas!

Do you write actual experiences into your stories?
Yes and no. Sometimes I will write about things that happen to me. Sometimes it's things that happen to others. One time I even wrote a whole scene off a conversation I totally eavesdropped on in a cafe. ;) It's dangerous to talk by writers! Ha!

Thank you, Erynn! Now for our giveaway!

  1. My favorite Christmas tradition is getting a new ornament each year and decorating my Christmas tree. Of all Erynn's books, I want to read Paige Rewritten.

  2. My favorite Christmas tradition is a tie: either Christmas caroling (this year with our new church since we moved) or my family being together, reading the Christmas story, and singing through all the Christmas carols together. :)

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding." Proverbs 3:5

  3. Favorite Christmas tradition is making Candy and cookies with all my family! it's so much fun! I liked you and Erynn on FB! (username: Sierra faith) Cool beans by Erynn looks like a good book!
